Travere Therapeutics Guidelines for Corporate Digital Media

Travere Therapeutics is a biopharmaceutical company whose mission is to identify, develop and deliver life-changing therapies to people living with rare disease.

We established our social media sites so that we could connect with the rare disease community and share information about Travere’s news, activities and events. Sometimes, we may share educational information about various diseases related to our key therapeutic areas for awareness only, but it is not a substitute for medical advice from your healthcare provider. Always speak with your healthcare provider regarding your medical condition.

When you engage with any of Travere’s social media sites, you are agreeing to these Community Guidelines (the Guidelines) in addition to the Terms of Service / User Agreements and/or other legal notices provided by Travere and those of the respective social media platforms including, but not limited to, TwitterFacebookInstagram, and LinkedIn.

Please follow the guidelines below when engaging with Travere:

If the Travere social post allows for commenting, forwarding, re-posting, liking or other interactive functionality, please do not post comments that contain:

  • Use of Travere products not in accordance with the approved prescribing information;
  • Inappropriate comments or inferences about Travere’s competitors;
  • Incorrect, false, misleading, confidential or non-public content;
  • Communications that could embarrass, harass, or offend other persons, are defamatory or would constitute an invasion of an individual’s privacy;
  • Sexually offensive material or comments or anything that might offend or disparage another person because of his or her race, sex, color, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability;
  • Advertising or promotion of products or services

Please do not comment on our social media posts with any content that will infringe others’ copyright or trademark.

Travere reserves the right to reject and/or remove comments that are not in keeping with these Guidelines and to block users that violate these Guidelines.

We may share information and links to informative third-party sites; however, this does not constitute an endorsement by Travere of these other websites, their content or the persons or entities associated with them. We are not responsible for the terms and conditions, privacy policy or content of any website accessed through links or references in our social media channels.

Additionally, we have a responsibility to act appropriately in accordance with the pharmaceutical regulatory environment in which we work and therefore, we will not share information about products or treatments on our social media feeds. We reserve the right to modify our community guidelines at any time. Your use of our social media sites indicates your acceptance of these terms, and any revisions thereof.
