OUR CULTURE IN ACTION

What to expect in our people-centered organization

We aim to create high-performing, inclusive teams

At Travere, we have seen the benefits of having an inclusive culture where every person can bring their authentic self to work.  Our commitment to inclusivity supports our ability to serve rare disease patient populations across all demographics. By incorporating diverse perspectives, we are better equipped to understand barriers to care and deliver impactful solutions. Our inclusive culture powers better organizational performance, enables individuals and teams to succeed, and positively impacts the rare patient communities we serve.

We value our people and their success. Together we’ve built a culture that embraces each team member’s unique experiences, backgrounds, and talents empowering them to reach their highest potential. We also have seen that when people feel valued and cared for, they do their work with stronger intrinsic motivation, a deeper sense of meaning, and a greater level of engagement.

At Travere, we are committed to fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace — grounded in fairness, opportunity, and shared purpose — where all individuals can thrive. We have established three strategic areas of focus to guide our efforts.

Fostering a culture of inclusion

Through continuous learning and enablement, employees are intentional about creating an inclusive culture that drives progress toward our mission.

Our ERG, VOICE (Valuing Our Inclusive Community Experience), is open to all Traverians who wish to participate and who are dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging that empowers all employees to bring their full selves to work. VOICE hosts experts and panelists for informative sessions, runs a media club for those interested in discussing books, movies and podcasts, and gives opportunities for employees at all levels in the organization to speak about their experiences.

Community outreach is part of our culture. We host numerous gatherings of professionals throughout the year, and volunteer at local charity events. These regular activities are an important part of the way we engage in the community.

Travere’s comprehensive benefits reflect our deep commitment to our employees’ whole selves. We offer a flexible hybrid work environment and prioritize employee wellness through a suite of resources that support mental, emotional, and physical health. We offer paid parental leave that supports new families, and Cariloop family support that provides personalized guidance through life’s unique challenges. We recognize that each person’s life experience is different. We’re dedicated to creating a workplace where every individual feels seen and appreciated, understanding that our strength lies in embracing the rich diversity of our employees’ lives and experiences.

We seek to understand and enhance employee engagement and well-being through survey feedback. Top three strengths identified by employees from our 2024 engagement survey:

  • The company, its leaders and people have a clear sense of purpose and patient focus.
  • Employees across all race/ethnicity demographics believe that top leaders demonstrate an appreciation of the value of diversity.
  • Employees feel valued and cared for at work.
